KOTA: A two-day Rotary District Conference will be held at Tulsi Resort from January 31, bringing together Rotarians from 21 revenue districts under Rotary District 3056. The event brochure was released on Thursday.Conference convener Suresh Agrawal said Kota is hosting the prestigious district conference after a gap of 56 years. The conference is being organised during the tenure of District Governor Pragya Mehta and will focus on
reviewing ongoing projects and charting future strategies.Rotary Club Kota president Manoj Soni said around 90 Rotary clubs from District 3056 will participate in the conference. The election process for the next district governor will also be conducted during the event under the supervision of election officer Nirmal Kanawat.District Governor Pragya Mehta said former royal Kunwar Ijyaraj Singh will attend as the chief guest, while Jawahar Valdmani will represent Rotary International. Several former district governors are also expected to participate.District secretary Pritam Goswami said noted poet Sampat Saral will perform a poetry recital, while spiritual speaker Renuka Pundarik Goswami
will share insights on mindful living. Theatre artist and poet Chirag Jain will present a special poetic performance based on Lord Ram. The evening bash will feature live musical performances by singer Rajiv Raja.Secretary Neeraj Agrawal added that Indian Idol fame Abid Khan’s group will present Langa singing and Rajasthani folk cultural performances. Spokesperson Sanjay Goyal said members with outstanding service contributions will be honoured with international awards. Delegates will also be taken to the Kota riverfront to promote local tourism, and clubs will share their service initiatives during the conference.
